MEVI Kits

Where can I buy one? Are they easy to install on your lonesome? I have a 95 Maxima 5 Speed.

Mods are Stillen Intake
Stillen Body Kit
New shocks and springs
Y Pipe, cats, and catback

With a MEVI Kit and ECU... what "should" my car run?

www.courtesyparts.com and www.nismoparts.com

If you have instructions, it shouldnt be too hard but if you were clueless enough to ask, i say seek professionals to have it run properly.

There is no "kit". You can buy the manifold its self from one of the above links, that is if they can actually get them. Then there are a few other parts you neeed. RPM switch, vacuum canister, vacuum soleniod, vacuum hoses, and new TB and IM gaskets would be a good idea.

Your best bet is to find one for sale in the classifieds section that has eveything you need. Going price is about $450ish for an MEVI with all the needed install parts.

As far as install, it's not technically hard but it can be a big job for someone who does not normally install their own mods. Most difficult thing is getting to the coolant lines in the back of the manifold and the EGR valve. Then getting the thing to actually work correctly is another thing guys have problems with. Looking back it is all so very simple but that was after I had done it a few times.

I'm thinking about selling a mevi with install parts plus cover too. The cover makes the engine area much cleaner. I bought it used with plans of installing but now I have a wedding date and probably need the $$$ instead. With a mevi/ecu and your current mods, its very possible to have low 14's in the 1/4 mile run.

and maybe even some high 13's. I already run low 14's w/ stock rev limiter and TS ECU.

EDIT: I meant Technosquare ECU.
