Quick observation/ question....

I have been running regular octane gas (due to $$$ factor) for a few weeks. In that time I've had trouble engaging my clutch smoothly and the car kind of ran like butt. I put in 93 octane this morning and it ran so much better (obviously) but the clutch issue was gone...could the level of octane in you gas really effect the clutch engaging smoothly?

Yes. The engine can run more spark advance (more power) with the higher octane gas.
