Yet another Suspension thread (ride quality ?'s)

Ok I'm driving down the street bouncing up and down like an early 90's Dr Dre video and i've decided its time for me to get a new suspension. My questions though aren't about performance mainly because i know tokico ill's would be the best for that my question is whats going to give me the best mix of ride quality AND performance. I have 18"s right now 245/40/18's with a stock GXE suspension and the ride quality SUX compared to my other max SE max with the stock 15" sawblades. I know that my low profile tires are to blame mainly for my ride quality, but they are here to stay.

So i want to know what setup i should go with if i want a decent ride (doesn't have to feel like a caddy but theres too many potholes here so i don't feel like breaking my @ss bone), good performance, and at least a 1.5 inch Drop. Price really isn't a concern i'll spend what i have to if it means getting all 3 of my needs satisfied. So what Shock/Spring setup should i go with, and if adjustable, what setting (most likely). I'm pretty new to suspensions in general, it'll be my first suspension mod ever, so any help is appreciated.

H&R springs and Illumina struts will give you what you want.

Totally agree with that. And get a set of the rear mounts that Ben sells. They also improve ride quality on lowered setups.

also, the tokico springs will lower just a tad... bit lower like 1.7 front and 1.5 back? which does aid in wheel gaps a bit... that way you could just get the kit from CM...

i think h&r is softer than tokico, but not by far i heard...

oh and a set of the rear mounts...

i will be getting a set upon lowering...

Ok two more piece to this question... I saw these on ebay - tokico illumina's with tokico "high performace" shocks include all together $500. Will these do a good job with the above criteria? Or should i definitely stick to HR's for my springs? Also If i bought this set is there any other parts i'd need before install (i'm taking it to a shop, don't feel like messing with spring compressors myself). If so what else should i get before i take them to get installed?

H&Rs and Konis are another option...if you've got the money and want the best street struts on the market that give one hell of a nice ride plus amazing handling.

I'd say go with the Illuminas and H&R's...
