Ok I'v eposted several time about this and I now know what's going on!

My car did not come with factory keyless/ alarm...the previous owner had an aftermarkt put in but now it either A) doesn't work or B) has been taken out. So my only question now is...if I can find a keyless entry "brain" for my trunk (which is already wired) and the remotes, I should have keyless entry right?

P.S. - will my lights also flash when I lock the doors, etc?

 

It's all depends on what the previos owner had.
A) doesn't work or B) has been taken out ?
Now, you have to answer it to yourself by opening lower panel (under the steering will) and taking a look around. Is it there or taken out?

 

Will the keyless entry module from a '85 or '96 work in my '98?

 

I don't know about 85, but 96 should work fine.
