want to drop, but...

...afraid that since my front tires are 235 and you can actually see them sticking out a little, that when I drop, they might rub the front side panels. What do you guys think?

p.s.: here's a pic just in case

234/45/17's don't rub on the correct offset rim on a lowered setup.

i personally wouldn't have fixed the door
i would spend the $1900 on mods...lots of them
As I see it, I would have had damaged door, but with:

1) full catback exhaust
2) suspension
3) stealin body kit
4) projector HIDs

Yes, you could get all this for $1900

$1900 for a door? Are you kidding me? That's ridiculous. You got ripped off by a F-in ton. Nothing else is hit around it. Not the driver door, the rocker panel, the rear panel, nothing BUT the door! Why didn't you just get a new door out of the Junkyard and throw it on or have a Different Body Shop throw it on. That door frame is fine too, because the seams all close the same as before so your worry about leakin was obsolete there too.

I can't believe you paid $1900 man, Wow.

Now now people, i didn't pay a cent out of it, it was all insurance. But since I didn't know how to "take money from insurance and repair myself", so i ended up fixing my door with them =/ But I needed to fix the door, since the top part of frame got bent and water would get in if it would rain.

So let em rub. Worse case you tear up the fender liner. And the fender. And the tire sidewall. And bottom out the strut. And...
