my heating isnt working right

When I turn my car on in the morning to warm it up, it doesn't warm up. My heat doesn't kick in until after driving for about 10 min. and it gets cold when I stop (at stop lights), but heats back up when I start moving. I have the **** turned all the way on hot What can be the cause of this?

Check your thermostat, radiator pressure cap, and make sure your cooling system is completely filled.

did you recently get/do a radiator flush?

is your car fully warmed in the morning when you first put the heat on or is the car not fully warmed?

I know when I did my flush, afterward my heat wasnt strong at all, and only seemed to kind of work when it was on 84degrees, but after some reading if air gets in they system is can cause this, and over time the air will get worked out and you'll have you heat back, as I do now (thank goodness in this 37 degree wheather).

Check the FAQ for thermostat replacement.
