Clear Corner Rewire Cracking

Ive been thinking about doing the clear corner rewire but I have heard a lot of people talking about how its too much and it cracks em. I want to do it to mine but im a college kid and any expenses I can avoid, I want to. If you have done the rewire let me know how long you've had them rewired and if theyve cracked or not.
They just look so good rewired. Thanks

If you're really concerned, you can always do the re-wire and then throw in an LED bulb which will produce almost no heat with all the brightness.

mine cracked after like 4 months maybe? and i live in texas and this was in the summer time. i guess some people get lucky and their's doesnt crack or anything. it doesnt really bother me much and is unoticeable unless you stare at it up close. but at times like after it rains, one of mine fogs up just alittle but it'll go away after driving with the light on for a little bit since it'll just heat up all the condensation inside.

One of mine cracked a couple of months after doing the rewire. It was during the summer. I replaced the stock corners with clear ones and didn't rewire again.

i think it depends where you live because so far (in the thread) i have only seen people complain when they live in all year long warm states....could this be a factor?

Oh and by the way, I'm really not that concerned with them cracking I guess. I've been thinking about buying some of the diamond cut, or whatever they are called, I'll just have to save up cuz I'm broke. Are they thicker or more resistant to the heat? I think the only cracking I've heard about is the stock ones.
