i'd like to help you but you are some what confusing me. the fuel filter is for filtering out fuel, not oil.

did u use Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer? or Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer? eitherway, they are both very good. now the ticking is probably your drivetrain(cams and lifters) how many miles do you have on your vehical?

are you leaking oil or fuel? which gasket is a little loose? the oil pan gasket or oil pan drain plug? if its the drain plug make sure you change that copper crush washer everytime you do an oil change.

what type of oil are you using? if you not using 5w30 then start using it. it allows for a colder start because of the viscosity.

how to check knock sensor. take the harness and ohm it. match with oem specs.

And as for the leaking it is coming from the oil pressure *** where there is a wire connected ( i think i can change that) is there any way that i can check for computer errors? with out pay in a arm or leg?

ohm is resistance. there is a specification where nissan has for the part to meet. get a multi meter. go get your oil changed and just use strictly 5w-30. to check for computer errors you really cant. but if you are reffering to car problems the car's computer catches, then you should really check out this link
