Something prospective Ground Control customers should know.

i installed my ground controls and KYB's today in the front (havent gotten to the rear yet). i dont know if this holds true for other shock brands, but its true for stock and KYB GR-2 shocks. the ground control sleeve will not fit over the shock body without some work. there is a flange at the top of the shock body that requires grinding down about 2-3mm to get the sleeve over it. on the KYB's its just an octagonal shaped piece of metal that has has a diameter about 3mm greater than that of the shock body itself. its not hard to do, but rather annoying, and you will need a grinding wheel to do it. i did it today, took about 5-10 minutes each. just thought people considering Ground controls might want to know. i dont know if the Weapon R coilovers have the same problem.
