Is it worth it? How often do you guys really end up adjusting your shocks? I'm a maxima enthusiast, but def don't plan on going to the track very often or doing autocross stuff. Want to increase the car's handling ability and get rid of the 4x4 look.

in your case, I'd just go with some GR-2s.. if you don't seriously plan on driving the car, then don't bother with the increased expense.. adjusting them takes a fair amount of skill as well- just arbitrarily turning the ***** soft/stiff will usually result in bad ride quality and handling. they should be adjusted based on the spring rate and ride height, not just soft for street and stiff for track.

i was thinking of getting eibach pro and tokico non adjustable shocks. but it seems like everyone is suggesting on getting adjustable. do i really need adjustable if im not planning on racing??? i just want a stiffer ride and eliminate the body roll when making turns. are the kyb's better the tokico's??? thanks.

shocks dont effect ride height. if i were you just get maxspeed's on gr-2's

The advantage to the adjustables is you can tume them to fit your spring rates. Many people who buy adjustables don't change them once they find the setting they like. When you buy the non-adjustables you have to live with whatever level of damping is provided from the factory, which may not be the best for your springs.

Something to think about.

If you follow Max Mod's do's and don'ts (http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaSprings), then I should be alright, right? I guess the only way to get the optimal damping level for a given set of springs is the purchase springs and shocks/struts by the same company?

i.e... tokico springs with tokico shocks?
