Does this happen to anybody else, i have a 95 so given my CD player is 6 years old i am not surprised this happens, the CD player will, not acknowledge there is a CD until you hit the ejecct button an unspecific amount of times. Sometimes it wont eject the CD no matter what for sometimes a few weeks. I figured out how to fix this the genius i am. jk. i disconnect the battery for a few hours, long enough for the ECU to reset?, and i also pop out the electric devices? fuse, top right fuse under the dash, when i plug the battery back in and fuse back in the CD has popped back out every time. I think this is beccause the default of the CD player is to no matter what eject whatever it has in it and by resetting the ECU it goes back to default. Hope this helps somebody, i almost bought a new CD player b/c of this problem. Does this ever happen to anybody else though?

Commom problem

I think this is a very common problem with the 4th gens. It's happened to me too. My display fades sometimes with my unit also. Here is a place that may be able to provide you with more info if interested.

Re: thats a cool website

the best suggestion i can make is to buy a new CD deck.. haha.. then you have to buy new interiors and all that nonsense, but you can say you did it and pull up next to hot chicks and make them roll their windows up cuz they cant hear.. or **** off old people left and right!! haha.. i love having a 135db system.. heh..

Umm..I have a 97 with a different deck so it might be different, but I was curious how much my deck costs, I called the dealership once and they said it was 1600 bucks!!!!! "Good Lord dat's a lot of money!!!!"
