i hate to post simple questions like this but i cant search and i need to know because ive been set back too long on my project and want to continue welding. since the flanges i bought (twice) dont fit, i was thinkign to just cut the flanges off of my stock downpipe and weld onto them. only problem is that if they are cast iron it wont work so i need to know if anyone knows what they are made out of. thanks a lot.
