Retrofitting

how do you retrofit projectors in a maxima? i never saw this on the how to's we should have one on there. or maybe a powerpoint file that can be downloaded. that'll be so helpful. if you know how; or know a link or anything that has a step by step instructions(with pics would be great). then post it here. lots of maxima drivers could use this knowledge. like me.... lol. ok thanks!

its really a custom job so it would be hard to rely on a write up. now for the harness thats where u are going to want some instructions.

yes its not my car. that's what i want it to look like. bi xenon projectors. whoowee... anyways i want the powerpoint presentation.

painting over cf parts is considered "sophisticated" for some reason, but u can def do it...

i guess this is the part where u feel really stupid and stop posting?

I think painting carbon fiber makes it look 10x better actually...

i have a question for anyone who have projectors

there is a peice between the front glass and the back, where the bulb goes in that is C shaped piece, i think its there to reflect light or something... anyways should that be on the top or bottom of the projector when installing it??

i don't get y people worry bout how other people cars loooks worry bout ur own. and yes u can paint CF


but for who ever needs a write up on how to do projectors

ummm that piece, if its the one that im thinking about....i took that out.

its the thing is inside the headlight but there is a cut off plate in the actual projectors that should be on the bottome side

this is the cutoff shield. it should be at the bottom of the projector. if you remove it you'll blind people. removing the cutoff shield is like a bi-xenon in high beam mode. CLICK ME this helped me understand a little better

hey thanks guys. anyways has anyone used a bosch gen 1 ballast? and some d2r bulbs? this guy offered them me 170 for the ballasts and 50 for the bulbs.good deal? will it even work?

if the bulbs are new and the ballast are in good shape, yeah go for it.
