before and after

i have posted before about the damage in the 96 because of a loong road trip. anyway i'm a step closer on repairing all the damage. here are some pics of before and after pics of my rims.

now i all i have to do is wait for the touch up paint from paintscratch.com to come. anyone know how to fix little dents? if so; please post. thanks!

looks good man, what did you do, just paint the rim? gunmetal with red caliper looks hot.

thanks guys... it took alot of time since the weather in seattle is freakin cold and wet. i used the aircraft stripper; then used 400 grit sand paper to sand it out evenly. i used dupli color caliper paint kit; dupli color gunmetal paint and clear coat. i'm happy with the results. you guys should do it too if you want to keep it real; repair or have no money for new rims(like me lol).

oh before i forget; does anyone know how to repair small dents? or anything that could help? i got a small dent on my trunk; and i want to fix it. i didn't really notice it till i removed the "MAXIMA" on it. anyone?

Grab a ding king setup for small dents, you can grab it at the as seen on tv store in the supermall.

very nice, my honey combs are horrible. did it really cover all those scrathes up by jsut sanding? hot dude.

Aircraft stripper wouldn't get the clearcoat out of the surface rim, but it does wonders on the holes. The best thing to do is to sand them down nicely. I painted them silver, rather then gunmetal. Gunmetal looks like of dirty. My o2 cent.

i like gunmetal on silver. i think it looks good on it. i didn't paint the lil lip on it to add a lil touch.
