What's up everyone? I have been lurking for the last week or so. I've been thinking of buying a Maxima for about a month. I bought one on Friday. A 97 GXE, metallic blue.

What a ride! Course you already knew that.

It's stock now. But I'll be trying to rectify that.

Well, just wanted to say hi.

Unfortunately I had to get an auto. My wife will be driving it from time to time. Let's just say, wife + stick = no no at least behind the wheel of the car

As I told another new owner and member, you will now start seeing ten times more Maxima's on the street. Let me know how many you see in one day, because, like it or not, you will count and compare yours to thiers. Stefnee :-)

Thanks again everyone. I'm feeling very welcome here. Lots of good info around.

I haven't really noticed too many more Maximas. But when I see them I'm looking for clear corners. Most that I have seen appear to be completely stock.

BTW, this morning on the way in I saw a 4th gen SE that was broken down on the side of the freeway

Trust him that one. I started modding and went through $2000 in about 1.5 months. I love my car!

Welcome to the .org. There are some outstanding D.I.Y here who can tell you pretty much whatever you need to know about your Maxima.

Hello. I'm new here myself. It is quite gratifying knowing that we all share the same love for our cars. I have owned two maxima's since I started driving and I don't kmow if I will ever own a different car.
