Pics of my new HIDs

my digi isnt working right now, so my phone pics will have to do. actually, better quality than i thought they'd be.

i ordered the helios kit through maximabest in his group deal. check out the forums. for anyone who is still deciding, go with maximabest, fast email responses, good customer service, and great product. i ordered the 7000k kit.

EDIT: you'll have to check out the post a few down by gold4dsc. thanks for hosting them

yeah, theyre 7000k. im going to have to aim them down a bit so not all the oncomers want to throw eggs at me. they're a lot brighter than i imagined they'd be. they put my piaa xtreme whites to shame. now i have to get fogs to match, or just not use my fogs. they look gross compared to the hids

They look good. Just remember to have them aimed down and not into the back windows of cars cause that ish is annoying.

Nice color, looks very good. I'm more impressed that those pics came from a phone!! Those close-up shots look better than most of the stuff that comes out of my 3.1 megapixel digi.

ha, if you can install your normal headlight bulbs, you can install HIDs. and i dont have stock halogens to compare to, but i can compare them to my piaa xtreme whites, or i think i have some regular sylvania bulbs somewhere. i have to get my digi working. ill see what i can do tonight

im sure they are. i've passed many cops so far in the past few days without getting pulled over or stared at. i will have to aim them down a bit though, because i do get brighted a lot.

here's a pic of how far the lights go. this is after aiming them down so i wouldnt get brighted by everyone going the opposite direction. and the phone camera still is my only means of showing these off, so the pic looks a little crappy, but you get the idea

does anyone know if the groupdeal is still going on? i'm very interested in HID lighting since having firsthand experience behind the wheel of a new IS300. the visibility is rediculous. i can't believe i've been using these dim halogens for so long especially since i do a lot of night driving.

How's the High Beam with these? Does it work real good and stay the same color as well cuz the Helios kit have the Micro Halogen bulbs and I'm curious on how they perform. LMK. Thanks.

there is no high beam on this kit, but he does offer the bi-xenon kit for an extra 75 i do believe. the visibility is insane. this weekend i'll do a comparision with these vs. regular sylvania halogens, and even my piaa xtreme whites, which i got brighted for occasionally. and he still has it going on, his name is MaximaBest, shoot him a pm or check out the GD forums.
