how good are the bosche oil filters? i was under the impression that they are a good brand. how do they compare to the OEM nissan ones?

Bosch is good. Make sure you buy one that is not made in China or Taiwan or some country like that because those are really cheap. Ones that are made in USA are very good.

 

I've used Bosch filters before and haven't had any problems, in fact the one I took off of my car was a Bosch...seems like I may have put on a Mobile 1 or something this last time.

Just stay away from cheap filters, it CAN make a difference on oil pressure.

 

I was thinking of getting a bosch but my friend who has a 2000 max told me from what he has read on the 5th gen forum they recomend OEM. Any suggestions for fuel filters?

 

just go with OEM
