I'm curious does anyone had a lip on their front end? Does it look good? Im not interested in a body kit or anything, just a little extra up front

what year is your maxima?
stillen makes 2 different lips. one for the 96-96 maxima and one for the 97-99 maxima. both of them look excellent and make the front end more aggressive looking. plus when you add the sides and the rear the max look soo nice. just the front lip doesnt cut it. you have to get the whole kit sooner or later.

I agree. Just put on the Stillen front lip. Very nice. Damn near indestructable. Southwestautoworks.com is probably your best bet. No shipping over $100 and the lip is that.

i searched and found something like the paradox kit from cefiro's in taiwan. they are really nice and cheap. actually it's the same kit. the paradox kit has four pieces: front lip, two side skirts, and rear lip. they are really nicely streamlined and classy. they are very inexpensive, too. i saw them on taiwan yahoo auctions for about 140 us dollars only. the only problem is that i can't get them to ship it over here. i called a few companies up and none of them are willing to deal internationally.
i wish my dad is also into modding, then he'll understand this totally and agree to start a business line from taiwan.

i'll post the link below, the price is 4500 taiwanese dollars, that rounds to about 130-145 us dollars. and if your browser go whack, it's because of the language settings. but just pay attention to the pictures:

lol, i read in the GB that someone didnt manage to shatter theres into 3 pieces... crazy.

but they are very strong

I have my 95-96 kit sitting here mocking me, cant wait to paint her

btw, there was a GB look harder. The front lip was 181 and the kit was 650 for the 95-96 and 699 or something for the 97-99

not to hijack this thread but how does the car look with just the stillen lip? The reason i ask is i would like to spice up the front end a bit but i don't want to have to get the full kit. Also how is the quality on the Ionic Dynamics Carbon Fiber Front Lip? It looks like a stillen replica but in carbon fiber

The quality is great. The finish is very smooth.
But remember its CF with a FG backing so its no where near as durable as the Poly item from Stillen.
If you get it, you must be carefull with it.

i would aslso say go with the stillen lip,i didnt see if u said u had a 96-6 or a 97-9 anywhere, but i would say if u have the 95-6, do the 97 99 conversion. i think the 95 96 looks good to but i think the 97 99 puts off a cleaner look, IMO

Plus I think that the 95-96 maxima with a stillen kit is more rare than a 97-99 maxima with the same kit.

All you 97/98/99 guys should be changing to 95/96. The amber-red/clears and the old style bumpers are the way to go!
