wierd vibration when car is stopped. tranny or brakes??
ive noticed lately that i have this wierd vibration in the brake pedal when im fully stopped and it gets worse when i turn the wheel to the right while stopped. if i put the car in neutral while still applying the brakes (without moving) or let go off the brakes, the vibration goes away. i also feel that when i slightly let go off the brakes at red lights, the car kinda feels like its bouncing (very wierd but thats exactly how it feels). and lately ive also been experiencing harder 1-2 shifts and somtimes 3-2 downshifts (when letting go off the gas at higher rpm's). car has 35kand auto tranny. u guys think its my tranny? do i need to flush it or is it on its way out? btw i think my pads r almost out, could it be the pads? this doesnt happen all the time but it has happend at least 20 times this month.

Warp Rotors maybe.
So basically you're saying your car vibrates when the engine is under load.
Check the motor mounts. Open the hood. Get someone to look at the engine. Put it in gear. With your foot on the brake put some pressure on the accelerator. If the engine moves a lot or you hear a clunk then you have a bad mount.
Do this in drive and reverse. And if you can get under the car look underneath for any cracked mounts.
You can also clean your throttle body. Get a tuneup. Stuff like that might help too
Ideally you need to get to a dealer and get a CONSULT diagnostic scan

you know, that is very interesting cuz it reminds me of something. whenever i drop the car into reverse or drive (while brakes r not applied), i hear this loose metal sound or sound of two metals hitting each other, its very wired and hard to explain !

Whats your idle speed when you feel the vibrations?
Car in drive, brake on, turn the steering all put a load on your engine.
If you idle is to low you'll feel it vibrate under a load.
Is that when/what your feeling?
EDIT: Turn the lights on and it gets worse?

imma have to check this one out. i cleaned tb few months ago, my idle is at about 500 when in D with braekes applied @ a stop and 1500 on cold starts. my alternator is makin a whinning noise too and lights get brighter when reving it. i need to pay more attention to the vibration this and explain it better. its very wierd. it vibrates for 3-4 seconds then it goes away.
oh and i have a y pipe so there is no precat. btw i do hear VERYYYYYYYYYYY loud explosion like sound when car gets up to 6k rpm. the intake and y pipe screaaaaaaaaaaam really bad and sounds like they are about to explode. maybe the cat is loose ?

i noticed something else today. when in park, the car idles at about 600 rpm and when the steering wheel is turned in each direction, the ideal rises up to about 800 rpm or so and stays there till u stop moving the steering wheel and goes back down to 600.
i think low idle is causing these !
