AC aquarium bubbler

Now whenever I turn on my AC or Fan I hear what sounds to be a noise of an aquatic nature. Like if I have a water pipe running thru the vents. On second tought it sounds like a constant cricket whine! Help!

It's your anti-freeze running into your heater core. Check your fluid to make sure your full. Don't worry mine does the same thing.

Anti-freeze running into the heater core?!? Is this something that happens in the winter? Is it normal at all? Egads!

Yes it is normal . Your heat core is part of your heating system and is what produces the heat that you receive in the car, thus you need your coolant to run through it to receive heat.

I see, the only question that remains is..... how come it never happened before? Unless I just never noticed it before. Oh well, thanks for the info.

You might have just gotten some air in there or you might be alittle low on coolant. Mine doesn't do it all the time but i have heard it alot, before i had to replace my radiator. I'm not saying your radiator is going but the neck of my radiator broke and there was only like 1 inch of neck left for the upper hos to clamp on to and it wasn't enough and started sucking in air, hence the problem of no heat and constant gurgling fluid sound in my dash.

Interesting, I'll have it checked out next time I visit the shop. I had my system flushed, not just drained and refilled last summer so I think I should be okay. Thanks for the info.
