Got my headunit installed "professionally," now problems

I posted a few times about a noise I was hearing under acceleration, and some suggested that the hu was not grounded properly. However, after asking the installer how they did it, it was what was suggested. So now I am getting a certain converter that will take away this noise.

However, the lights on the BUTTONS surrounding my auto. climate control do not work. I took it back yesterday thinking it was an easy fix (loose wire, etc.) but they couldn't find a problem with it and suggested maybe I didn't have those lights to begin with... The display works fine, it's just the buttons that are not being lit up. What can be the problem?

Mine don't work either. It is probably the bulbs and I just haven't fixed it yet. Alot of people post about the same problem and it is just the bulbs nothing serious.

if you know they worked before, tell the installer that they need to get it fixed for you. If they can't fix it, they need to pay for the repair. Unless they have proof (which they don't), they should be responsible for it.

The one I'm getting is like $40, but I'm getting it half off. I don't have the name, but will post it on Monday or Tuesday.

By the way, this converter is going to let them adjust the amplifier so the headunit's amplifier is not conflicting with each speaker's amplifier. (I have a Bose system.)

haha, i wish you would have said that earlier, the lights im not really sure about, but it is their fault if they worked when you dropped it off. bose does need an adapter, theres a few, but yeah, that would have made it a 1 post answer, lol good luck either way

Said what earlier? That I had Bose? Sorry, man, I thought I had mentioned it in at least one of the other threads I've made about this...The funny thing is that they spent at least 20 minutes looking at the connections, and couldn't find any problems. Why would all of the bulbs in the buttons only blow when they replaced it? That sounds odd to me...I'll look into it.

Oh, and you don't "need" an adapter, on some bose systems, the aftermarket hu sounds great, on other's however, it sounds like, well, mine. This is why they didn't install it right away, to see what it sounded like before the adapter.
