I wouldnt even go to the dealer, they'd rape you.

Get a rebuilt one from an auto parts store.

that's right, don't even think of going to a dealer...my friend had to replace a rear right one and went to an auto parts store where it cost him ~$86 with the core, (they take your seized one)

I used this site, and i got my Cliper for rear right side, which came from a 2001 Nissan Maxima for 50 bucks. They shipped it fast. Its Junky yard listing. Its good. Good luck

I replaced my fronts and they were only $40 (with core) at autozone! They looked brand new to me!

I have seen calipers go on old and fairly new nissans, make sure you check the brake hose as well. I would replace both calipers in the rear if the mileage is high. Oh, don't go to the dealer and don't get them from a junkyard either. They getting them reman from good parts store. Good luck!

I agree with no junkyard calipers. Too risky IMO. If you have an ICP(international car parts) or Foreign Auto, go there. Those guys are usually pretty good(leagues beyond Autozoo) and they may work with you on price. If the caliper is not too bad, you can buy a rebuild kit if so inclined. Aftermarket offers these too, but I would buy that from the dealer-it's cost efficient if you are mechanically inclined. Good luck.

first be sure it's the caliper that is seized and not the pin. recently I made that mistake. are you able to turn the piston back into the caliper? are the pins allowing the caliper to slide freely? if "yes" to 1st ?, then don't replace the caliper unless it's leaking. if " no" to 1st ?, then replace caliper. if "no" to 2nd ?, then remove, clean, and grease pins, and don't replace caliper.
