fidenza flywheel with oem clutch?
Ok well latly my cars been having a lot of problems starting, acually for like 6 months, i've tryed everything and nothing helps, along the period my timing chain started making a little bit of a wrapping noise but after looking through the service bullitens i saw there was a fix for the tensioner but it also said this noise could be faint and stay that way with out any harm. Well it definatly didnt stay that way, its gotten horible and nissan quoted me almost $2000 to replace it, considering all things, im puting another motor in, i used to work for toms4n.com in waterbury ct and they have about 20 of them on the shelf with an array of miles, so i'll be picking one up with low millage for about 300 bucks
anyway with all that said, i figured while the motors out i should consider changing some things, the trany's rebuilt with a new oem clutch both having about 10k miles on them, I was considering the fidenza but so far from what i see everyone is using aftermarket clutches which i really dont want, has anyone drove one with an oem clutch and is it worth the money, i'll also be doing a jwt ecu, polyurethane motor mounts and posibly headers
any input would be very helpfull...puting a little more money into this car still beats making payments on the $18k 3.5 5th gens i was looking at buyin
thanx in advance

i30tmiked has a fidanza flywheel and stock clutch... what's your question? it will work perfectly fine if that is what you are wondering. the clutch you have won't affect your utilization of the flywheel, unless of course you were using a clutch with such high clamping force that the lightweight aluminum flywheel were to flex under the pressure from the pressure plate.
Like Neal said... Mike has it and hasnt had a problem.... but if your questionable why not just do it right the first time and not have to go through that entire project to change the clutch later if your not happy?
Not that I'm bashing you but if it were me I'd rather go the route that I know I"ll be happy instead of maybe not being happy later and having to pay for it x2

i did a centerforce dual friction clutch and fidenza and have no problems very happy heard a lot of mixed results with flywheels and diffrent clutches but not many people have the centerforce most do the excedy or act

yeah i just needed to know if the it will work ok with a stock clutch, i like the feel of the stock clutch and im always going to be n/a so i really dont think i need the extra clamping force
i have another month or so before the motor comes out, i just need to wiegh my options as what to buy, i've heard mixed things about driving with the flywheel around town and thats the thing i like most about the max is the way it drives from a light or around town so im still very undecided about the flywheel...thanx for the input though
