I was wondering if anyone had found a cheap place to get the OEM oil filters

Just buy a Purolater, they're great filters.

They seem to give 12%, I'd rather have 25% plus free shipping, genuine parts are genuine parts, right? I just hate to do the advertising for these dealers. You can find them with Google.

Everything I've read said that the Nissan filter is outstanding. But then, everything I've read said that the Purolater filters are outstanding too. Along with the Mobil-1 filters. Guess it boils down to what's easist to get at a good price.

mobil 1 is also good. I have never heard of purolater, so i cant comment on those. read this thread in the fluids/lubricants section for the recommended oil/filters

An oil filter is an oil filter.

Go with whatever you find to be the cheapest. My friend just put in a purolator in his max and it's just like any other filter I've used before.
