hey i recently bought a used urethane skyline rear bumper and sideskirts, the rear bumper has some scratches ( not too deep but noticeable) on it cause the former owner was driving with it unpainted and i was wondering how do you prep a urethane bumper for painting? jsut wet sand it like any other piece or do i have to bondo then sand it or any other special treatment?? anyone that has experience painting these things please chime in

 

all i know is sand it. dont bondo it because with time (not too long), it will start cracking with all the flexing from hitting whatever. primer, paint it, and clear coat it. it should be fine.
