K&N Panel

For those of you who have the drop in Style K&N filter, how often do you clean it? I've heard different answers on this one

I think instruccions say every 60000 miles; I have 15000 now and think can wait another 15000; so I will clean it about every 30000 of instead 60000, but I put about 30000 miles a year; so is better to take a look every 6 months and clean when dirty, as per every car/filter is diferent.

I would just take a peak at it every oil change...Bang some of the dust out and if its really bad clean it. I use the time the oil is draning from the car to check a lot of my odds and ends things like that
