How to install Sarona Ver. 1 Rear Bumper?

It's going on a '97 Max it's the version 1 Sarona Kit just the rear bumper, and side skirts, and the rear bumper won't fit. But keep in mind all of the OEM bumper support, and reinforcements are still there, do you have to remove the OEM reinforcements and support to make it fit? Do you drill holes under the trunk lid where the clips once were for the OEM bumper? I need help quick because there's no way I can afford another bumper, or afford to ship this one back and forth. Thanks!

How does it not fit? does it not go on all the way? havent had my rear bumper off, but if theres a styrofoam section you could probably shave it down.

I'm hoping and praying it's the bumper reinforcements that won't allow it to go up. I just hope someone here with experience with this can guide me in the right direction.
