Tokico Illumina's installed (56kers Run! pics inside)

Ok So i finally got my suspension in after lugging that 65 pound box around for days lol. I bought it on E-bay (Tokico Illumina's with tokico springs for $537 shipped) Only $15 shipping blew my mind, for a 65 pound box, dunno how they do it but i'm glad they do it lol. First i installed the front with relatively no trouble. (My car wouldn't go into gear when i was done because somehow at the same time i managed to blow my slave cylinder on my clutch, and all my clutch fluid leaked out) But thats another story lol. Here are some pics of the install job.

My Car Pre-drop (its got blown rear struts and handles like a donkey.

Here's the stock front strut, taken out of the car. From here u have to compress the springs, then remove the top parts to put on the new shocks/springs (if u didn't know that)

The Tokico Springs Next to the Stock GXE Spring (fronts). The rear springs were surprisingly almost the exact same size as stock, the fronts however had like a 2-3 inch difference. (but u don't get nearly that much drop, because the tokico's sit stiffer once installed.

Here's the front struts fully installed, with just the wheel off.

Here is a pic of the back struts (installed). The rear job was WAY easier than the front and took about 1.5 hours. And thats with a problem that arose. One of my rear tuner lugz stripped and i couldn't get the rear passengers tire off, but i still managed to install that strut with the tire still mounted on the car. So if anyone wanted to know if u need to take the rear tires off to do the strut install the answer is YES! lol its a ***** to get the essembled new strut in there is u don't but it is possible to do fyi.

Heres a pic of the back strut from under the car, with the car jacked up still.

Here is the last pic, its my car (dirty still) but dropped. As u can see theres not a huge difference in the pics. They are from different angles so its hard to compare, but the difference is noticable in person (if You know how a max, normally stands. People just walking by aren't gonna say hey that max is slammed lol, but it looks good. As far as handling OMG, amazing. I can take curves at nearly 2x the speed i could before literally, and there is no hint of body roll. Right now i have the stiffness set 3(front) 4(rear) and it rides nicely, u can tell its stiff but i like it hard

looks alright, still a bit too high for me, if it were me id cut about 1.5 coils front and maybe 1 rear, but if that is the look you were wanting its cool. yeah, im saving for illuminas and s-techs, because i HATE having to take turns at 20 miles per hour thinking that my car is gonna tip over. it handles like my moms olds silhouette. which is bad. really. i mean it. its that bad. ok im done now, good job

Looks like you have the wrong size tires for that car on those rims.
You should have 235/45/17.

My rims are 18's and i'm on 245/40/18's btw, and i bought the car with these rims/tires and the altezza's and the chrome trim like 2 months ago so Screw u guys!!! lmao j/k Naw i'd opt for different tails myself but i'm not putting any more cash into the max seeing as how i'm buying a bike in like a week. As far as a lower drop, i'm not into slamming cars especially since we have 1foot (ok more like 4 inch) high speed bumps at my apartment and at my school, i'll pass. I do expect them to drop alil lower as they settle, so they should fall alil.
