almighty MEVI ? more mods?

ok i know this has been asked many of a time but... with me having a 99 and no ecu to change the rev limitor would it be in any way bennificial to get a mevi? is there any dyno graphs on stock ecu'd mevi installed max's? otherwise looking at my mod list for performance mods in my sig what else could i get that may be more bennificial to the power of the engine. Thanks -Ryan

If you're not into track drags it can be. The engine won't fall flat on its face after 5,000rpms. The drawback is that you lose torque on the lower/mid range.

I've spoken to a couple of auto guys who had the MEVI without an ECU upgrade and with an auto (IanSW, MaximaN) and both note that the gains after 5,000rpm are worth the loss in torque on the lower end. Both also agree that the torque loss isn't as noticable and detrimental as many have noted (if you're not looking at improving 1/4 mile times.)

The MEVI alone would still make this a highway beast all the way to redline.

Package this with the VB mod/tranny cooler and it can be a nice upgrade.

Do i need to fab any adapter plates or anything for it? i am also seriously considering the VB mod so thats prolly gonna be next on my list for sure. After that though im really not sure
