Smog Test

Just a question...I'll be getting my car smogged sometime next week and I acutally trying to wait for my knock sensor to get here so I can replace it before I get smogged. Does it matter whether I replace it or not? Would the car pass emissions with a bad knock sensor? What about the cone filter? I probably have to put the stock intake back on.

Dont worry about the cone filter. You will fail for a bad knock sensor or if the CEL is on for anything.

Thanks for the reply... actually my check engin light does not come on, but the knock sensor code shows up on the OBD scanner. Has anyone here passed smog with the cone filter on the car?

Dont worry about the cone filter. That does not have to do with emissions.
