what's everyone getting these days?

 

My gas mileage sucks in the winter its like 19mpg city.... I think this is because I let my car warm up so much and it takes longer for the engine to reach the optimal operating temperature in the cold weather.

 

I average 24-25 on most tanks. Over 28 if it's all highway.

Last trip up to Atlanta I went 290 miles on 8.8 gallons, 32.9 MPG

 

same as every other time this thread has been posted, ~25mpg combined city/highway

edit: btw, your poll numbers are poorly chosen

I get 20 when I have fun with it. I've gotten 23 before when I had only a little bit of fun with it. I wonder what I'd get if I drove like a granny...

they may have sucked to you, but not to me, i made them that way for a reason, i dont go around saying your posts sucked and then crying to have someone change them, so dont do it to mine


oh and as you can see, it obviously didnt suck because we have 2 people that are below

About 320 on a full tank. Semi-aggressive driving and 155,000 miles. Not too bad.

 

i get about 45, but i drive crazy......

 

just did a savannah to atlanta trip 3 1/2 hrs. 13 gallons 277 miles, about 21mpg, not bad but I know I can get better.

 

18-20 most city and some highway.

i drive all freeway, i get about 28 mpg. a few time i broke 30, but i think only twice or so

15-16 mpg. i have a bad o2 sensor, when i bought the car a year ago i was getting 20+ easily.

 

Just did a highway trip this weekend, 28.6 highway, so the car is still doing nicely after 102,000. When it gets a mixture of city/highway it tends to avg. 21-22. If only city, it can drop down to 17.

 

Maxima still has great gas mileage. But I was driving a Buick LeSabre recently and can't help but notice the rpm's are lower in it at high speeds.

 

i recently filled my tank with 87 octane oppose to my usual 91 and i actually got 290 miles in the city. i was getting 275-280 the last 5 fill ups. go figure.

 

17 mpg city 23 mpg on highway averages out to be like 19 mpg =)

 

18-19 city
21-24 hwy The problem here is that Im always going 75-90 on the highways, and your gas milage suffers at speeds over 65 I believe.
