Replacing rear brake pads and rotors

I desperately need to replace my rear bake pads and rotors. I am strapped for alot of cash right now but not strapped for time. Is this a project I can tackle on my own on the weekend or do i need to let someone else do it? If I can tackle it on my own can you guys explain exactly what to do or even better give pictures? Well any advice on this matter I would appreciate. Thanks

o- and also what is the best pads/rotors for the best price.. I dont want to sacrifice performance but dont care for a whole lot more than stock either, maybe just a good step up but not all the way... thanks...

Rear brakes do very little of the overall braking but you could just get "factory style" rotors and get some "good" pads like ceramic/semi metallic... You can look below to see if you want to tackle the job.
