DE-Bosch'd
I pulled the plugs to replace them (previous owner had the OEM replaced about 60K ago) and they were Bosch, ooops! Found some NGK platinums to replace. The car starts easier now and idles a bit smoother. But it is more of an insurance thing than anything else. Thanks to the advice of this forum, my car now has the right plugs. I got NGK platinum GP and gapped them myself. THe parts guy said they weren't the exact OEM but seemed to be the same plug, just not gapped to 1.1mm. They were about 3 bucks a piece. The copper's were 2 bucks and the OEM replacements were 13 bucks. Hope they are the right ones. Thanks again.
Part number is....
....BKR5EGP, and it is called the G Power platinum. I had to gap them myself but it didnt take much time. The parts store was called VANS and I have only seen them in Austin,TX but I would bet these are universally cheaper than the OEM platinums. Hopefully they will hold up.
