looks nice....my car looks similiar to yours with the color/kit/and tails....I am also going with a carbon fiber trunk lid and I am going to re-do my tails. If you like the gen 2 altezzas I am selling my gunmetal ones (they are posted in the 4 gen for sale section)....good work on your car

 

Or...if you open up your current ones, paint them either gunmetal or the color of the car. Nonetheless, love what you did to the car very unique. Definately a head-turner.

No, those are actually 18" 350Z wheels i got from ebay and painted it gunmetal.

 

CF = IMO. Other than that car looks cool.

It's called the Skyline bodykit. There are 2 version of the kit, fiberglass and urethane and the there are slight difference between the front and rear pieces and being the sides are completely different. I have the urethane version and i got it from Wicked1044.

 

Man, just get those cf tails and it will all pull togther even though is loooks bad *ss right now...

I got mine from IonicDynamics.....

I didn't do it myself. A friend of mine did it for me. He pretty much laid the C/F material on top and applied resin on it. He used a special type roller to spread the resin evenly and to get the C/F to lay flat. Let it dry and sanded it down. Then I had another friend repaint the lower half and then cleared the whole wing.

Goto a shop have have them paint your tezzas blue, you know the skyline mod... maybe have the outsides blue and the interiors black/tinted to work with the cf trunk....

those tezzas are so damn guady. i could barely stand my dark chrome gen2s...

oh and i hate the cf trunk we both have. fitment sucks! big gaps. and it flexes so much with so little base....

I like the look on these but i'm afraid cops will give me a hard time about it being blue. The cops here are always on a lookout for something different that they can give a citation for.

i got painted gen2s and don't have any problems with the cops...least about them...your tails are screaming to be painted/tinted...that or some LED red clears

 

Look at your tails, where are your reflectors? There is nothing that can be seen from the side. These are one of the few things cops bring up with aftermarket taillights. Plus having it painted blue would have cops going "Are you trying to imitate a patrol car?" Any hint of blue lighting on your car tends to be questioned here.

But I'm really looking into painting it like how Big_Ham showed with the translucent blue.

 

The reflectors are in the centers of the outer tails.
Your right though, I dont have any side markers but I havent had any issues. I even have passed inspections this way.

 

That's kool that you pass inspection with the Skyline mod. But I drive my car everyday atleast 20 miles and I hate worrying about cops stopping me for a moded aftermarket taillight. I've been stopped a few times already for having an aftermarket taillights.

 

Sounds like maybe you should go back to red/clears then ... those are always a sexy option.

 

Altezza's = rice. kills the whole look of you car. But the wing looks pretty good, and this is comming for me, the wing hater. nice job... but do yourself a favor... get red/clears!

 

I have a set lying around and I put them on yesterday. I didn't like it. It's just too plain for me.

 

You can also consider three things:

1) do the DTM mod to the red/clears....will go well with your gunmetal rims

2) get those TYC tail lights and paint the bezel the color of the car

3) Open up your tails and paint the chrome gunmetal like the rims.

 

I'm currently driving around with my red/clears while i work on my Gen 2 Altezzas. It kind of growing on me after a few day having it on. Here are a few pics of them on my car.
