Made a decision on suspension

Hey boys, well after long thinking and 6000 posts w/ questions, I read the maxmods and asked many questions, I have decided on the inevitable Illuminas, and the Tokiko springs. I chose the Tokikos over the H&Rs, because the write -up on the Tokikos, seem to give a better drop, and ride quality was very closely compared to the H&Rs. Seems to be a good decision to me. It also seems that you get the best of both worlds with this set-up, good ride quality and a good drop over the H&Rs. What do you all think, so I can finally put this to bed.........
Thanks boys

The Tokico setup does sound pretty sweet. I'm trying to decide between that and Illuminas+Tein S-Techs. Right now it seems like I have an unusually large gap (not really sure why) and I'm not sure if the Tokico springs will take care of it the way S-techs would.

They say that the s-Techs give you a harsh ride... If you don't mind that, than the s-techs are for you. Me on the other hand, am 34 years old, but look like I'm 18, want less jolts to my backside......

The s-techs are a completely different animal from the tokico's.

You have:

Eibachs-performance spring

H&R, tokico, H-techs-comfort springs (not compared to stock of course, but as far as a lowered setup goes).

S-techs, and sprints-looks springs.

There are other's of course. Some just cheap (dropzones etc.) and some I really haven't heard much about (progress etc.).

Anyway, you really just need to figure out your priorities.

I have the Tokico set-up and since i have put my rims on, my wheel gap looks bigger for some reason. I am soon to get the S-techs to really drop the car some more and to close that gap. If you want.. I could sell you my Tokico springs for cheap if you are interested. I They have been on for a little over 6 months and in perfect condition.

IM me at- Ka Pants Key-- if you are interested.. or PM me.

In terms of performance, you have the ultimate setup short of coilovers and sleeves. No other company supplies struts and springs as a combo, made for each other. All springs, as far as I've researched, claim they were tested on Nissan struts, which most of us feel are inadequate to handle the drop and increased springrate for street use.

Enjoy your setup. I'm envious.
