I was parallel parking in the middle of rush hour and had 20+ cars behind me, so I parked with the quickness, only to hear [clickclickclickclick] from my passenger side wheel. had my max checked out a month ago and the boots were fine. any chance that with the cold and hard cornering, I could've torn it?

Highly unlikely. My question to you is, were you driving the car before you had to parallel park with the quickness? If so more than likely your CV go clickclickclicklclick for a good reason.
