I been looking for a car for a couple weeks now for my sister since her corolla was totalled out. I found a 97 Max for 3 grand that is in great condition (original owner) but has 202K. I thought it ran great for 202k. All it needs is a knock sensor. Do you guys think its a good deal and should I be concerned with the mileage. I sold my 98 about 2 years ago and still miss it.

 

Thats alot of mileage. As long as the rest of the car is in good condition thats a very good price! If the previous owner took care of it, it should last a few more years.

 

Yeah its the original owner and the guy is in his 40's so I doubt he was beating the hell out of it. Plus all the miles are highway, he put 14,000 on it in the past 6 months.

 

ebay has a 2k 5spd blk/blk maxima with 209k. I think the bid is running right now at $4500. w/ 18hrs remaining. Chk it out.
