Do 4th gen clocks go out too???

Hey guys. I just wanna know if the clock on the dashboard dies like it always does in most 3rd gens. My dad has a 95 GXE, and the clock does not work, even if I flick it or thump it or whatever. Is this a common problem in 4th gens too?? And is there a way/writeup to fix it, or should I just start shopping for a new clock in the classifieds??

thanks

There have been a few threads started about clocks going out, so it can occur. I know that mine went "out" a few times, but as of now it's working fine (knocks on wood).

I'm not too worried about it, don't really use it anyway....

Why not go ahead and post that on here (when you get home). That way other people could benefit as well. Although it could already be posted somewhere...
