Yeah, It used to be this:

I'm thinking of repainting it hammered silver again, unless I find a new pattern of mesh. Silver makes the front a little more outstanding.

Mine is only a '96, so it's slightly different, but the same ideas are there. It's made from Gutter Guard material from Home Depot. You can find a how-to for yours here: http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=38.

Pics of mine are here: http://northsidedrive.com/index.php?.../pictures&al=2

So it seems that silver is the best color for mesh. I have silver now (but I want to break up all the silver in my front end.), but seeing blackcat's before and after i'll have to look into another color. i don't like how you can see through the black mesh, as if its not there.

Yeah, thats certainly too much silver color in the front.

I painted mine black because I wanted that agressive look back. I felt that silver made my car a little upscale aka GLE-style instead of sporty.

To get rid of the see-through look I've thought up the idea of gluing black plastic screen door mesh underneath but I've not gotten around to seeing if it would work out.

hollaatchaboi leave the front end its nice, imo i think the black mesh will mess up the flow and throw it off. silver mesh looks good on light colored cars.

2 Da Max, how did you manage to keep the mesh stuck in there? And what did you use to keep the grill attached to the car? The front end looks good though.

Yea....i loved it when i first put it on. But now, its not even noticeable (notice how the silver mesh looks great on blackcats black car). Also, I'm about to do the AE mod and I like how Maxima99se has a mix of silver and black.

The look I'm going for. So i figure if i put black or gunmetal mesh (maybe with a gloss) I can get a more agressive look.

That car above is nice. I think a Black mesh grill and nothing else but the lil burger in the middle would be hot on that car. I seen it somewhere else before and liked it and would prolly suit your car nicely.

thats what I'm planning on doing, going to pick up some sand paper and primer tommorow, paint it a nice dark black, with a couple coats of clear, should look sick.
