I don't recall any members having the DZ co's. You'd be among the first Maximas to have them.

I called their R&D tech guy and they said the springrates and valving is appropriate for street, autox, and hot lapping. I'm guessing these are probably the same as entry-level tien, or Ground Controls paired with Illuminas.

I would check the warranty, if it's lifetime, go for them. At least they stand by their product, and it's a small monetary risk.

I dont know you guys saw that thread where that guys drop zones jusst broke in 3 different places, I dont know how many are runnign drop zone, but if their springs break like that, then I wouldnt know how to trust coil overs. what if hit a small bump while traveling and it breaks such as that other guys? No life time warranty will save you in that situation.

Just my thought.

Thanks for the second opinions it looks like a good deal but now that i think harder about it with the way i drive if one snapped and threw my car into a ditch i would have more then just a spring to replace. Ill search around some more maybe ill search the forsale forum for a used set of higher quality springs and shocks

Don't buy them. It was me with the broken springs.

They're lifetime warranty is crap. I've called them for a week straight before they would send out my spring with a deposit of course. They have to make sure I pay to send a broken spring to them.

The lady in charge of warranty stuff is just a pain in the ***. She kept giving an email address that does not exist to send pictures to. Then she gave me a fax number so I could fax the pictures instead and she gave me a number that had been disconnected. She repeated it twice, so I know it was correct. I finally talked to someone else there and got the correct number. On top of that, they couldn't send out a new spring because the superviosor wasn't there. Every ****ing day I called, the supervisor was gone. If they were a good company they would have seen how their product broke and sent me a new spring but no, I have to have my car sitting in pieces for three weeks because they cant send out one damn spring.
That feels better to get that out. Moral of the story, stay away from dropzone.
