Y-Pipes - Cattman or Budget - Which One?

Which Y-Pipe should I get guys? I know that drewm has the maxmods website and I've read it, but I can't decide between the Cattman or Budget y-pipe. Cattman is the "best made" but Budget is the cheapest, and theres like a $150 difference, so I can't decide which one to get.

From people that actually have these parts, is the Cattman pipe actually worth the extra money? I mean are there problems with the Budget pipe down the road that one should know about? Thanks for your input guys as always.

I have a budget y-pipe. It releases just as much hp as the other pipes and the performance is like night and day. Perfect fitment. Id say go for the Budget, it saves you money and its basically the same as the other pipes.

By the way-- Nice wheels

People like to justify the extra cost for the Cattman by saying it is superior than the others. Sure, it has nice welds but in every other shape or form it is no better than the other pipes out there.

Brand negligiable, they'll all last well into the next decade.

So just go with the Budget because it does the same thing and the Cattman just physically looks better?

I would stick to the big 3 names that come to mind:

Cattman
Budget
Warpspeed

The final decision is really how much you want to spend.

But really the only question worth asking is...

Is the extra cost of the Cattman ypipe worth it compared to the low price of the Budget?

Warpspeed, budget and cattman are the top 3. There have been few fitment/bees in a cans noise with warp and budg, but i have yet to hear one thing wrong with cattman. If you go with cattman, you're going for the fitment and no bees in a can noise

i have just ordered a y-pipe from warpspeed and have heard some very good things about its gains from some of the guys that have it. I'd say go with the warpspeed because of the great welds and the 19 hp gain that it gives. I dont know much about the budget except for the fact that it is so cheap. I believe its cheap for a reason...maybe bad welds or a little more restrictions i really dont know but i'd go with i know that is good.

They are the same pipes, as far as installation goes is the same procedure.
I would get the budget (gettin one next month), basically they are the same ss pipe with mandrel bents. Cattman in my opinion is not worth the extra $$$ for a y pipe, that is going to perform as well. my .02

the only problem i had with budget is that they sent me the wrong rings to mount at the header, but those were only $6 at auto zone, after that no problem

...plus i got a free test pipe.....

A free test pipe from Budget??

I had one wrong ring for the connection between the Budget B pipe and muffler. No problems with the rings for the Y.
