I am getting dual exaust put in my car in about a week. The whole thing is costing me about $800 which included a Stillen Muffler. I wish the pipes could be further apart though because they look a little to close together, ohh well.

you mean you are getting two stillen exhausts and putting one on each side? are you going to cut the spare tire well out like fivelitrekiller did (top pic)

thats 5litrekiller's car i believe he is one of them there canadians hehe , i dont like that look ...... if they wanted true dual exhaust the engine would have been placed vertically instead of horizontally

hey stillnmax

the VQ is neither vertical nor horizontal... the cylinders are diagonal, but it is somewhat vertical I guess in that it sits upright, and not on it's side. And BTW, how does being vertical make for a better dual exhaust platform?

Hehe, I'm just bustin' yer ***** man, I think you meant to say "they wouldn't have mounted the engine transversely", that means sideways. But I have one more comment... my buddy just bought a 2002 TL Type-S, and it's a transverse-mounted 3.2L V-6, front wheel drive, and it has dual exhaust. I'm pretty sure it just has one main exhaust pipe (just like our Y-pipe) that branches off into dual mufflers after the cat, but it does look cool with two chrome tips. Come to think of it, Honda did the same thing on the Acorn V-6's too.

yea, you know what i mean, well if it wasnt transverse you could have 2 seperate pipes ... that would be cooler than just one pipe into 2 ... but it doesnt really matter that much.
