auto to manual

My auto tranny may be going on me. what if I went to a manual. Is the conversion costly? Wise? Dumb?

i dont think it would cost too much more than replacing the old auto tranny, and it certainly isnt dumb... you wont regret it.

Check the FAQ's. There's gobs of good info there on this. It's definitely not a weekend project. You need someone that really knows what they're doing and you may end up with tiny glitches like a light here or there on the gauge cluster.

But if you can find someone that'll do it right, manual is awesome.

And do you need to ask twice by posting a duplicate thread ?

good luck. there is much more than just bolting up the tranny.

well dah, just seeing if anyone has asked or anything im not stupid. broaner, i remember lastyear when you were still dreaming of doing the conversion ahh the good ol days lol
