taking off the dash

I just baught a 1996 Maxima with the help of my dad, and one of the reasons we got a good deal is because the speakers aren't all connected. It had wires connected but they took them out and we just want to remove the dash so we could get to everything.

I know there are a ton of stickies...but theres to many. Theres a general question sticky and a FAQ sticky, and...I know im a huge to cars in general, so please just help me find the seach button at least

search button requires you to donate money.

you'll need to get to the door speakers
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....32#post2815832

this should help with the center of the dash

if you guys are planning on doing most repair for the car yourselves then getting a haynes manual is highly suggested and intheir they have a detailed removal of the whole dash everything!! you can get it at most auto stores.

good luck.

just careful with those clips for the plastic thing around the guage cluster. its kinda cold now so prastic is pretty brittle and it being your first time it might be tight. [lol no pun intended]
