Will a shifter from a 94 auto work in a 99?

I want to get a leather shifter for my automatic 99 SEL. Currently its the cheap rubber one. I really like the look of the leather one and want to change it. It must be black. Anybody have one or can direct me? Or maybe know if the 94 will work in the 99?

i'm pretty sure they're the exact same. they look the exact same, like some other 3rd gen interior parts. i know 5th gen ones won't work, found that out first hand, but i'm pretty sure the 3rd will work.
