wrecked my max, anyone have a clue on part prices?

Lastnight on my way back from droppin my girl off at her place, i hit some ice goin on the highway and my car spun around smacked the driver's side rear off the guard rail and swung the front end back to hit the guard rail as well. There's damage the whole way on the driver's side of the car, my clear corners are gone, parking light's gone, and so is my outer tail light. Both doors are at least scratched the whole way from front to back. Both fenders and bumpers have some damage as well, and my rear tire appears to be tilted in towards the fenderwell(turned in to the right) plus my allignment's all off. Anyone have any clue how much this is gonna cost me (just curious before i get my apppraisal sometime this week).

It sounds like it's going to cost a lot to fix. Do you have pics?

I agree. But if you're looking for an actual $ amount, if I had to guess I'd say around $4500 or so for the doors, panels and to straighten it and get an alignment. I'd be willing to bet your insurance company will total it.

yeah that doesnt sound too good.... the main big thing is probably the fact that you mutilated your suspension, which will cost a lot in parts... also, the damage to the rear quarter is gonna cost you cause the quarter is connected to the roof and everything and to replace it, they will have to cut out the damaged part and weld a new quarter on.... a lot of labor hours.... as armelius said, its very possible your car may be totalled, but lets hope not

Get the payoff and fix the body yourself (except for paint). The rest shouldn't be too bad.

hey guys, thanks for the input...the estimate is just over $3000 for front and rear bumper covers, front fender, possible rear fender, fix doors, frame, and allignment. Unfortunately for me, my insurance company's cuttin a check directly to the body shop and i have to give them my 500 deductible when i pick up my car. But the place i'm goin guarantees their work for the life of the car, so i think i'll be in good shape. Thanks again guys!
