tons of rattles.
reverse lights dont work.
speedo doesnt work.
clutch is gone.
to traction.
bose display dont work
rear suspension is not independant.
hood struts suck.
paint sucks.
i hate the fact that if i were to spend $5k on an S/C id only be running high 13s.
cat is broken and cant pass smog.
i got a few more that i cant think of now. if i dont get too lazy ill have an S14 by the summer.

I like my max. The only thing I don't like about my max is it always wants me to spend money on it. It's a mod ***** I guess. It either wants to go faster, handle better or just look damn good. I can't complain since the max has been so good to me but that goes both ways. Right now it's all about breaking the 300whp mark. It's always something...

Just ONE thing... hmm... I hate that there is no visual or audible confirmation of dis-arming the stock alarm.
Consequently, this sometimes causes me to roll down the windows and no way to roll them back up. Doesn't happen often... just when I don't want it to.

Those all sound like a buncha personal problems.

Have you ever thought about using the spray on undercoating? You peel back your carpeting, take off your door panels, spray it on and it really does work wonders. We use it alot at the dealership up here to take care of road noise. Just a thought...and the cans are pretty cheap too.

i love my car it has most things that i need but look at the bright side if you dont like your car so why dont you sell it get your self like a $50.000-$80.000 car you'll have any option you want but i can tell you one thing once you have something you dont apritiate some people would love to have your car so enjoy what you have but if you dont i dont know what to tell you

For all of you who have so many complaints about the Max, my sugguestion would be to find something better! The fact is that you will find something to complain about with ANY car.
As for my Maxima, I have only one (1) complaint...the suspension. That's it!
It's about to turn 100,000 miles and this car is deluxe! Everything on it has held up well. I mean EVERYTHING! The transmission shows no signs of trouble. The power is there when you need it. The interior has held up exceptionally well and so has the exterior. I have never owned a better car than the Maxima.
If you take good care of this car, it will run like new and and will look like new.
That's my .2 cents worth.

I hate people that make threads about what they don't like about maximas when they take their car in the ice and slide into curbs and such. Then while not knowing how to work on their own maxima, complain about repairs and etc......

- that jerky 1st to 2nd gear and slower gear changes from 3rd to 2nd to 1st are killing ...
- road noise even in I30 luxury liner
- Suspension and sub-par handling.
Well, I guess ppl complaining here are not the ones who don't know how to work on their car, but these are complaints in general on a stock car that everyone normally gets. Maybe Jeff92se can start a thread on what kinda topics/threads orgers hate

Wow come back a few days later and the thread is getting salty.
I think what exit10 was simply doing was presenting a chance for people to vent a little about certain things they dont like about their max, he never said those who dont like you max post about it in here. I'm sure we all love our Maxs' but there is that one thing that we dont like about it or wish it was another way.
In a sense we all dont like many things about our Maxima hence why we replace those parts with aftermarket ones, and hence why there is an aftermarket sceen period.
