depends.

whats wrong with your hood? if its something you can fix that wont need to be repainted stick with the stock hood.

but if you need a new hood, and want to get a CF hood cause it would be cheaper or equal to the price of getting a new hood plus painted then get a CF one. but if you check www.car-part.com you might be able to find a hood in your area for cheap, depends on your walet too.

aight, what happend was basically something hit my hood, which i won't explain cuz its embarrasing how it happend, and now theres a dent on the drivers side of the hood...i'm estimating like....hmm..few hundred dollars for repairs...i donno if that includes painting it too. Honestly i actually don't know any prices at all for sure, i'd like to really know the pro's and con's of cf hoods if there are any cons at all even. but i saw this one that had the pins and it looked like there were dents in the hood around where the pins are, kinda like someone tried to lift the hood while the pins were still on or something. anyhow, im hopin to hear good feedback. thanks yall

Probably better off going w/ cf hood. Would be cheaper in the end. Just have to be very careful as cf hood is more delicate and anything hitting it will definitely leave a mark (like pebbles caught in truck tires, etc.).

cf hods rule becuase of the weight reduction I love that not to mention themore agressive look. cf hoods weigh like 17 pounds verse 49 stock. That is a nice weight reduction

The CF hood is lighter, but the fitment isnt always perfect and usually needs some adjusting. If you go with a CF hood be prepared to baby it. They are delicate. Whatever happend to your hood causing it to get the dent, wouldve cracked and destroyed the CF hood.
I also suggest you wax it frequently to help it keep its shine.
