has anyone just taken the harness off and used a tester to check to see if the harness is bad? is there any way of checking to see if its that besides that if that doesnt work>?

 

if you think its that.. which is doubtful.. you can take the harness off.. run a piece wire from your battery (touch it to the positve terminal) the connect it to one side of the harness and then take a test light (ground it) then connect it to the other side of the harness and see if youre gettin power through the harness..

 

i see. i just want to make sure when i get my ks sensor wether or not to get the harness.

 

i dont see why i just cant use a my tester it will send a signal thew a wire. im just gunna do that . thanks anyways lol

 

whenever you get your ks in.. unplug the harness and then check the ks ohm through the harness.. if you get a reading ~550K Ohms then your ks and harness are good..
