spark plug question

spark plug question

so i changed my spark plugs today with bosch platiums but after i installed them i drove the car and expierenced surging excelleration and the check engine light came on. I think it my be a sensor somewhere but im not sure. What do you guys think???

you just wait for the Bosch bashers to get to you! As far as i know you can have you maxima ownership rights banished for using non- NGK plugs , I would keep it on the quiet side if I were you. Seriously though.. NGK is the way to go.

as bad as the bosch is he shouldnt get a CEL from that
assuming they are the right ones an d properly gapped...
did u secure each coil back tightly and the way it was orginally?

i just changed my plugs today too, couldn't get NGK plugs so i had to opt for Autolite double platinums. They seem to be working fine even though i just drove around the block. believe me, i would have loved to have put NGK plugs in, but it was one of those things that i just needed to do.

What about Denso plugs? Are they acceptable?

Boshes are junk! I don't even care to spell it right. Don't listen to the guys behind the PepBoy's counter. They don't carry NGK's anymore and they try to sell those german plugs like its gold. I'd never use any other plugs aside from NGK's. Went to Autozone last weekend and got a set of NGK V-Power Coppers. I've been using these since I got the car. They last around 30k, normal lifetime. But you get better sparks then those crappy plugs. By the way, all this is in the stickies. Read um and learn.

why are densos worse than bosch..they are better than platinum
