spark plug question
spark plug question
so i changed my spark plugs today with bosch platiums but after i installed them i drove the car and expierenced surging excelleration and the check engine light came on. I think it my be a sensor somewhere but im not sure. What do you guys think???
you just wait for the Bosch bashers to get to you! As far as i know you can have you maxima ownership rights banished for using non- NGK plugs
, I would keep it on the quiet side if I were you. Seriously though.. NGK is the way to go.

i just changed my plugs today too, couldn't get NGK plugs so i had to opt for Autolite double platinums. They seem to be working fine even though i just drove around the block. believe me, i would have loved to have put NGK plugs in, but it was one of those things that i just needed to do.
Boshes are junk! I don't even care to spell it right. Don't listen to the guys behind the PepBoy's counter. They don't carry NGK's anymore and they try to sell those german plugs like its gold. I'd never use any other plugs aside from NGK's. Went to Autozone last weekend and got a set of NGK V-Power Coppers. I've been using these since I got the car. They last around 30k, normal lifetime. But you get better sparks then those crappy plugs. By the way, all this is in the stickies. Read um and learn.
